Meet The Author

James R. Wilder is a veteran news reporter, trade-journal editor and photographer who has always been a fan of the Old West. In his debut novel he chose the small Missouri town of Grubville where the story takes place because he spent much of his youth there learning the culture, history and folklore of the area from the old timers he was lucky enough to meet and call his friends.
